How do I find my Facebook Group ID?
Whether you have a public Facebook Group, private, or secret group, this modification will act accordingly. If your group is secret, it will ask a Facebook user trying to access the forum category to login with Facebook to verify they have credentials. If not, they won’t be allowed in.
This mod alone will quickly pay vBSocial Lifetime off. Use this as a bonus feature for your members to join your paid VIP section. We’ve noticed that the more features you offer to your paid section of a forum, the more members are receptive to it and join.
If you ever used vBulletin’s Facebook Connect, then you have 90% of the set-up done. Next step is to go to the Forum category of your choice and link that to the Facebook Group ID of choice.
We understand that images are worth 1000 words. Thats’ why we’ve developed that in mind. If a user posts an image in the forum using bbcode, or someone posts an image on Facebook in the group, it will show on both sides.
Spoil your VIP’s with another exclusive benefit! Or give your moderators, supergroups a communication channel connected to Facebook. Specially developed for an exclusive section on your forum, it will easily connect any forum category of your choice to a Facebook Group. Anytime someone posts in your Facebook group, it will be posted in your forum, and vice versa!
